Colorbond Diamond Lattice Topper: Style Above Your Fence
A Colorbond diamond lattice topper adds a decorative element above your fence, increasing height and visual interest while maintaining the Colorbond aesthetic.
A Colorbond diamond lattice topper is a decorative steel panel installed above the main fence sheets, adding height and visual interest to your Colorbond fence. It is a popular choice for homeowners who want a more decorative fence appearance while maintaining the durability and low-maintenance benefits of Colorbond steel.
FPM Building Supplies stocks Colorbond diamond lattice toppers for fencing projects across Victoria.
What Is a Diamond Lattice Topper?
A diamond lattice topper is a steel panel with a diamond-pattern lattice design, installed above the main Colorbond fence sheets. It is typically 300–600mm in height and spans between the fence posts above the solid fence panels.
The lattice design allows light and air to pass through while still providing a visual barrier and adding to the overall fence height.
Why Add a Lattice Topper?
Additional height — A lattice topper increases the effective height of the fence, improving privacy and security without the visual weight of a fully solid fence.
Decorative appeal — The diamond lattice pattern adds visual interest and a more decorative appearance compared with a plain solid fence.
Light and air — Unlike solid fence panels, the lattice allows light and air to pass through, which can be important for gardens and plants near the fence line.
Colorbond durability — Steel lattice toppers offer the same durability and low-maintenance benefits as standard Colorbond fence sheets.
Matching Colours
Diamond lattice toppers are available in colours to match the standard Colorbond range, including Monument, Woodland Grey, Night Sky and Basalt.
Installation
Lattice toppers are installed above the main fence sheets, between the fence posts. Post extensions may be required if the existing posts are not tall enough to accommodate the topper above the fence sheets.
Pairing with Post Extensions
If your existing fence posts are not tall enough to accommodate a lattice topper, Colorbond post extensions can be used to increase the post height before installing the topper.
FPM Building Supplies stocks both post extensions and diamond lattice toppers.
